Announcement: Selection for Student Presentation Award (Oral Presentation Division) at the 80th Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of Japan

The Experimental Nuclear Physics Division will conduct the “Selection for the Student Presentation Award (Oral Presentation Division)” at the 80th Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of Japan (JPS), to be held in September 2025. This is the second time this program has been implemented.

Objective

The Experimental Nuclear Physics Division of the JPS aims to encourage outstanding student presentations and to promote broader recognition of Student Presentation Award recipients.

Implementation

The selection will be conducted through oral presentations within regular sessions. Applicants will present their work in regular sessions, and judges appointed by the selection committee will evaluate the presentations.

How to Apply

The application procedure is the same as for regular presentations. The application period is from Tuesday, June 10 to Thursday, July 3, 14:00 (JST). Please refer to the JPS Meeting Website for details. Key notes for oral presentation applications:

Financial Support

Please note that no financial support will be provided for membership or registration fees of applicants.

JPS Student Presentation Award

Applicants who meet the criteria will be evaluated through this “Selection for the Student Presentation Award (Oral Presentation Division),” and candidates will be recommended for the JPS Student Presentation Award by the Experimental Nuclear Physics Division (guidelines). Details regarding the evaluation process will be announced later.
